With Gratitude

HFHNC’s construction volunteers repeatedly donate precious time, in good weather and bad. To express appreciation, Lunch Coordinator Carol Grassi arranges for other volunteers to prepare (or purchase) and deliver lunch to workers every day throughout a build. This page is dedicated to thanking lunch volunteers for making these donations. It’s our way of saying, “Much appreciated!”

Thank You Troop 1131 of Franklin Square

On Saturday July 9th, Troop 1131 of Franklin Square brought and served a delicious lunch of spaghetti with meatballs. They treated theMineola build volunteers with two selections: traditional Italian style and a sweet and sour. And don’t forget the crisp green salad and scrumptious Italian bread with butter. Absolutely delicious! Then they spoiled the volunteers with homemade chocolate chip cookies and Twinkies! Later, Ray S. from the construction committee took the troop on a tour of the build in progress.
